We have partnered with the New Mexico Farmers' Marketing Association (NMFMA) and their New Mexico Grown Approved Supplier Program, the NMFMA's Tiered Food Safety Training program. Participants in Seed & Bloom sessions will have access to ten hours of in-person free farm food safety training. Students will leave this training with a basic understanding of what food safety Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) look like on a farm, and prepare to develop a Farm Risk Assessment or Food Safety Plan. We are building towards growing food in abundance at PNM- food that will feed the residents of the entire facility, and in time, community members in and around Santa Fe.
